What’s in your editorial? What kind of editorial is it? Does it explain or interpret, criticize, persuade, or praise? Is there an objective explanation of the issue? Does it have a standard introduction, body & conclusion? Does it represent opposing viewpoints? Is it engaging and professional, using issues and specifics? Does it end with a strong conclusion? Do you clearly know the writer’s opinion?

The articles in your article - Find and note these items: The headline (the attention grabber) Byline (who wrote it?) Lead paragraph (the who, what where, why, when, and how?) Explanation (relevant facts, sufficient & specific information) Additional Information (it provides more on the story, but it’s could get cut if it had to….)
