Hudson Valley Center for Emerging Technologies Mission Statement September, 2000
HVCET Mission Goals The Hudson Valley Center for Emerging Technologies (HVCET) is a collaboration among three academic institutions in the Hudson Valley to promote economic development in the region by providing a research base in emerging technologies for e-business. The Center will work closely with regional business, local and state government and the economic development community to create an environment in the region that is supportive of existing businesses as they venture into e-business and attractive to new businesses to the region.
HVCET Mission Objectives To assess Hudson Valley research and development, and training needs. To provide information about on-going research and development activities. To facilitate joint research and development projects among the academic researchers and with business and industry. To solicit funds to support research, development and educational activities.
HVCET Mission Objectives (2) To disseminate results of Center research and development activities. To provide up-to-date information about emerging technologies for e-business. To provide education programs that meet the needs of regional businesses.
