Monday, October 21, 2013- Pre-AP I can… write an original short story using the elements of the Hero’s Journey. Do Now: KNOWSYS #6- Quiz Friday! /Dream Presentations Gradual Release: Step Two: Story Groups- Groups sit in order of the HJ. Assign parts: 1 per step of the Hero’s Journey Drafting: Groups to work on their parts for at least 30-45 min. in order to develop the plot and their part of the journey. HOTS: Why is revision a critical step in the writing process?
