Salmon of knowledge By Joe H and Jack V

Long ago when Fionn the good leader of the Fianna of Ireland was still young he lived with a wise man named Finnegas. He was a poet who lived beside the river Boyne and reknowned for his knowledge. He is also known for his skills in composing and reciting poetry.

One day Fionn asked Finnegas was there a way you could know everything and that was the question he asked when he was young. Finnegas said there is a salmon in the River Boyne and if you eat it you will know everything. That is why Finnegas lived near the River Boyne. Finnegas had been trying to catch it for 7 years.

Finnegas finally caught the salmon and he ran into Fionn and asked him to cook the salmon for him. When Fionn was cooking it he burnt his thumb and put it in his mouth to ease the pain. Suddenly, he got all the knowledge. He became a wise poet, the strongest warrior and the greatest leader Ireland has ever known.
