“PDA Radar” and “PDA Wheel” charts Instructions for reading and interpreting the “PDA Radar” and “PDA Wheel” charts 1. Interpretation of the PDA Radar Charts 2. Compatibility Study through the PDA Radar Chart 3. Study of Behavioral Tendencies through the PDA Wheel Chart
The PDA Radar Chart is a new way to graph the behavioral tendencies of a person. It doesn't provide any additional, but it allows us to see more clearly "the energy distribution of the person in the PDA Matrix". 2
For example… …if a person has a High Risk Axis and a High Extroversion Axis in his/her natural style the Radar Chart will shade a wide surface of the "Proactivity" area, allowing us to easily observe and interpret that the person spends a great deal of Energy in proactive actions in pursuit of results. 3
For example… …in counterpart, if a person has a Low Risk Axis and a Low Extroversion Axis in his/her natural style the Radar Chart will shade a small surface of the "Proactivity" area, allowing us to easily interpret that the person invests a limited amount of Energy into proactive actions and applies his/her energy to other areas in search of results. 4
For example… …if a person has a High Patience Axis and a High Extroversion Axis in his/her natural style the Radar Chart will shade a wide surface of the "People Oriented" area, allowing us to easilly observe and interpret that the person invests a great deal of Energy in people, in their ties and relationships in pursuit of results. 5
For example… …in contrast, if a person has a Low Patience Axis and a Low Extroversion Axis in his/her natural style the Radar Chart will shade a small area of the "People Oriented" area, allowing us to easily observe and interpret that the person spends a limited amount of Energy in people, in their ties and relationships in the pursuit of results, instead applying energy in other areas in search of results. 6
For example… …if a person has a High Patience axis and a High Norm Axis in his/her natural style the Radar Chart will shade a wide surface of the "Responsiveness" area, allowing us to easily observe and interpret that the person spends a lot of Energy in advancing patiently and consistently, following procedures in pursuit of results. 7
For example… …in counterpart, if a person has a Low Patience Axis and a Low Norm Axis in his/her natural style, the Radar Chart will shade a small surface of the "Responsiveness" area. This allows us to easily observe and interpret that the person is quite independent and impatient and invests a limited amount of energy in advancing patiently and consistently while following procedures and will rather apply energy in other areas in pursuit of results. 8
For example… …if a person has a High Risk Axis and a High Norm Axis in his/her natural style, the Radar Chart will shade a wide surface of the "Task Oriented" area, allowing us to easily observe and interpret that the person invests large amount of energy in advancing in a direct and competitive way, following procedures in pursuit of results. 9
For example… …in contrast, if a person has a Low Risk Axis and a Low Norm Axis in his/her natural style, the Radar Chart will shade a small surface of the "Task Oriented" area, allowing us to easily observe and interpret that the person spends a limited amount of Energy in advancing in a direct and competitive way, following procedures and will instead apply energy in other areas in search of results. 10
Both in the Natural as well as in the Role Behavioral Profile In case a "Compatibility Study" with a JOB Position is requested, the PDA Radar Chart will shade in the Matrix the distribution of Energy required for the position along with the corresponding distribution of Energy of the person, allowing PDA Analysts to observe and interpret in a simple and clear way the "covered" areas the "uncovered" ones and the Energy "wasted" by the person... Both in the Natural as well as in the Role Behavioral Profile 11
The PDA Wheel Chart is similar to the PDA Radar Chart, with the particularity that it only reflects the "natural profile" of the person and adds, in order to facilitate interpretation, some descriptive phrases about the own behavioral characteristics of those who invest a greater amount of Energy in each area of the Matrix. 12
