Mrs. Applegate and Mrs. Gerdes’ Class A Peek at Next Week in… Mrs. Applegate and Mrs. Gerdes’ Class May 13, 2019 Reminders Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests. Objectives:   Reading: We will continue sharing our published original books with the class, as well as, setting reading goals for the summer. Language: Students will review skills they have learned throughout the year. Writing: Students will publish the second adventure story they wrote for their characters. Spelling Words: - None Math: Students will review telling time and three digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping this week. Science: Students will challenge themselves with STEM activities to complete at home and bring to school to share. These are FUN experiments for them to do and show off their amazing minds! Students will wrap up with a unit on dinosaurs. Social Studies: Students will research inventors.
