Integrity

How would you define INTEGRITY? How does integrity impact your decisions? Integrity is our moral compass – our sense of right and wrong Our decisions affect those around us Tell us about a time when you were faced with a difficult decision – what did you do?

How can you show integrity here at Rippon? Don’t spread rumors Respect classmate’s property (even in the cafeteria!) Don’t cheat Just be honest Choose to stand up for a classmate being bullied Your DECISIONS have an IMPACT and DEFINE you as a person

Staff Sgt. Melvin Morris, US Army, Vietnam War Staff Sergeant Melvin Morris distinguished himself by acts of gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty while serving as Commander of a Strike Force drawn from Company D, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), 1st Special Forces, during combat operations against an armed enemy in the vicinity of Chi Lang, Republic of Vietnam on September 17, 1969.  Watch his story and ask yourself how things might have been different if he hadn’t made the decisions he did.

How did Staff Sgt. Morris show integrity How did Staff Sgt. Morris show integrity? How did his decisions affect his unit? Staff Sgt. Morris closed by saying, “You are your brother’s keeper.” What does this mean to you and how can you apply this to Rippon?
