“It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game.” Mr. Easton’s Fitness News (708) 423-3078 September 3rd , 2018 Reaston@ahsd125.org Welcome! Spatial Awareness Soccer This unit will include the students learning how to respect one another’s personal space. The activities will include locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulations skills. The students will be able to challenge themselves individually at their own pace. This unit will include various skill practices and lead-up games. This will be to increase the confidence of the students in the sport of soccer leading to the ultimate goal of being able to play a game of soccer. Happy Labor Day! The first weeks of school have already passed by so quickly. The students are falling into routines and becoming more and more comfortable each day. Please make sure to have your children bring gym shoes to school on their scheduled gym days. As the weather changes, please make sure the students are bringing appropriate clothes! (We may be inside or outside) The students, as always will be further challenged and more complicated exercises, sports, and activities will be presented to them as the year progresses. I am excited to see all of the talents our students have! The few weeks in August have been an amazing start to the year and I expect nothing less in the future! ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT The Chicago Cubs are the athlete of the month. The MLB is nearing the end for their season, and the Cubs are doing a great job to finish the year strong and be strong competitors into the post season. Even though I am a Sox fan, I can say that you should watch and cheer on our Chicago teams to do their best! “It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game.” - Grantland Rice
