Northern Air Managers Formed about 1998 concerns that WRAP focused only on GCVTC states and tribes. Most NAM concerns addressed Still need for state/tribe committee review of WRAP activities to ensure continuing support for all Western states and tribes The Air Managers Committee of the WRAP (AMC) evolved from the Northern Air Managers (NAM). NAM formed about 4 years ago to address the concerns of some states that the WRAP was so focused on 309 issues that 308 issues were being ignored Most of the original concerns of the NAM have been addresse The overall need for a watchdog that ensures WRAP is addressing the needs of regulators (state and tribal) remains.
