Presentation transcript:

class news Miss Jackson’s A Note from the Teacher Week of March 5th A Note from the Teacher What’s Happening in... We are need of hand sanitizer. If you would like to donate a large bottle to our class, we would appreciate it. Please practice reading with your child. The books that come home in their red folders are great! If your child has started AR please read with them at night. I would like them to take at least one quiz a week. Please complete and turn in homework by the due date. Parents, please make sure you are filling out your students homework reading log. If your child comes home with a incomplete paper that says “finish and return,” please work with them at home and have them turn it in the next day. Continue to review sight words with your student every night. Don’t forget to clean out your child’s red folder each night to make sure you don’t miss any important papers/forms. When sending in money, please write what the money is for (example: lunch money, book fair money, Santa Shop, etc.). Language Arts– This week we worked on reviewing our sight words for our upcoming check-up. We worked on blending phonemes and segmenting phonemes. Sight Words – said, was, good, ate, then, could Math – This week we took our Unit 4 test, they were sent home. We continued to work on seeing ten groups in teen numbers, along with solving equations.
