Ventspils county - a municipality located in the Western part of Kurzeme, created in 2009 when 1 town (Piltene and rural territory) and 11 parishes (Ance, Zlekas, Ziras, Targale, Usma, Ugale, Uzava, Varve, Jurkalne, Pope, Puze parish) of former Ventspils district were united.
