American Legal System EQ: What is the purpose of laws and what are the different objectives of punishment?

Where did our Laws come from? (p.190) Codes define our laws. There are 2 types of codes: Legal Code: Moral Code: Which one of the above codes spell out what we MUST follow? Give an example of a moral code. Can you think of an example where our legal code is the same as a moral code? Why do we need laws?
