Enhance Your CoreNet Experience and Increase Your Value To Your Company! Did you know that active involvement, and full use of CoreNet resources enhances your experience and value? Here are some tips on CoreNet resources and how to access them, and some opportunities for you to become more involved. The CoreNet Web Site and Chapter Resource Center holds a wealth of information and the knowledge of your colleagues! There are committees and board positions at the Chapter and Global level for you to contribute your vast knowledge and experience and help to shape the future of CoreNet!

Here are some suggestions, and opportunities for you! Financial Advisory Committee Under the direction of the CoreNet Global Board of Directors, the Finance Committee is responsible for recommending processes, policies and staff fulfillment related to the preservation, protection and appropriate investment of CoreNet Global assets and resources. IT Task Force Under the direction of the CoreNet Global Treasurer, the IT Task Force is responsible for recommending processes, policies and staff fulfillment related to the preservation, protection and appropriate investment of CoreNet Global assets and resources related to technology. Member and Chapter Services Committee Under the direction of the CoreNet Global Board of Directors, the Member and Chapter Services Committee is to establish a strategic framework and direction for the continued integration of chapters as a key and local delivery channel within the broad spectrum of the CoreNet Global network.   Diversity Committee Championed by the Board of Directors and Peggy Binzel, the Diversity Committee was formed to increase member Diversity awareness in CoreNet Global  with focus on three areas;  Supplier Diversity, Workplace Diversity, and Diversity in CoreNet Global.

Here are some suggestions, and opportunities for you! Chapter Learning Advisory Committee Committee’s role is to ensure rapid and continuous communication of CoreNet Global Chapter learning issues, needs, challenges and successes as they arise, and to serve as a sounding board for future Chapter programming. Community Reinvestment Task Force CoreNet Global not only works for its members, it also works for its community. The Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC) is a charity effort and its objective is to improve and reinvest in surrounding communities. Originally created in July 2000, the CRC is a year-round effort taken on by CoreNet Global members in their respective Chapters to give back something to their communities. Today, the Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC) keeps its focus, but will work towards sustainability and involvement of all CoreNet Global Chapters worldwide to form a unified community service effort. Reinvestment in the community could mean anything from remodeling old buildings into usable space to giving scholarships to college students studying real estate to mentoring your CRE professionals. There is no limit to what your Chapter can do to help!

Guidelines and Contacts To become involved in any committee at the local or global level, please contact the membership chair of your local chapter. Please go to www.corenetglobal.org and click on chapters. Search for your chapter on the chapter list. On the Global level please call 800-726-8111 and you will be directed to the appropriate staff liaison and they will inform you about availability and protocol.
