What is a Recorder Post? The purpose of a Recorder Post is to monitor the Pressure within a pipe at strategic points. The picture on the left shows an example of a new Above Ground Recorder Post but variations of this plan include Concrete Versions with a metallic plaque and Horizontal In Ground versions. 8/11/2019

Data Capture Expectations All Recorder Posts will need to be connected back to our newly installed main. The DCT will need to capture 2 Dimensions and a Depth of Cover to where the pipe connects to the main – circled red. This will need to be annotated on the Primary Document. A service card will need to be data captured by the DCV Team. The capture of this plant is governed by DR23. 8/11/2019
