THE NATURE OF THE RELATIONSHIP THE FIDUCIARY RELATIONSHIP IN THE HEALTHCARE SETTING IS ONE OF MUTUAL TRUST IN WHICH THE BENEFICIARY TRUSTS THE FIDUCIARY TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE AND COMPETENT SERVICE AND THE FIDUCIARY TRUSTS THE BENEFICIARY TO HAVE THE CAPACITY AND INTEREST IN BEING A MEANINGFUL PARTICIPANT IN THE THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP.
