Preparation for Installation at ESS Wojciech Wierba, Krzysztof Oliwa LLRF Quarterly Meeting  NCBJ Świerk, 2019-03-14

LLRF Quarterly Meeting PEG Deliverables We will deliver and install for M-Beta and H-Beta: MTCA crate with RTM Carrier, LO RTM, Piezo RTM, Split Box, PSS Switch, PIN Diode, Electron pick-up, Patch Panels for RF signals, RF cabling for signals between our devices. For installation we have to design: Patch Panels layout, Choose cables types, Inner rack cables layout. 14.03.2019, NCBJ, Świerk LLRF Quarterly Meeting

LLRF Quarterly Meeting Mockup Racks Status The Mockup Racks (ESS responsibility) for M-Beta is in progress but not ready: The LLRF rack occupation is not fixed, The Patch Panels placement is not fixed, The AC power distribution is not fixed, The grounding design is not ready, The network connections are not finally design. The lack of these decisions prevents further preparation of the installation. 14.03.2019, NCBJ, Świerk LLRF Quarterly Meeting

RF Patch Panels M&H-Beta The design of Patch Panels for M-Beta and H-Beta are ready (depends on the location): Placed on front opening with brushes, Needs only a small rack top cover modification (remove brushes, drill a few holes, press nuts), The PP have 30 N connectors or 27 N connectors and 3 BNC connectors, The M-Beta and H-Beta need 22 RF connectors maximum, There will be at least 8 N connectors spare. We propose N-SMA connectors. 14.03.2019, NCBJ, Świerk LLRF Quarterly Meeting

RF Patch Panels RFQ, DTL, Buncher and Spoke The preliminary design of Patch Panels for RFQ, DRL, Buncher and Spoke are ready: Placed between openings with brushes, Needs quite big modifications of the rack top cover (cutting new openings), The PP will have 20 N connectors or 17 N connectors and 3 BNC connectors, The maximum number of signals is ~60, We propose N-SMA connectors. 14.03.2019, NCBJ, Świerk LLRF Quarterly Meeting

List of RF Signals for M-Beta and H-Beta The lists of PP RF cables are ready, should be checked. The lists of inner rack RF cables are ready, should be checked. The list for H-Beta is also ready, to be checked.
