TRANSITION FROM 1G TO 5G

COMPARISON OF 1G TO 5G

SPEED OF DIFFERRENT GENERATIONS

5G TECHNOLOGY 5G technology refers to short name of fifth generation which was started at late 2010s. Complete wireless connection with no limitations. It is highly supportable to WWW(World Wide Web). HOW 5G WORKS-Wireless networks are composed of cell sites divided into sectors that send data through radio waves. Fourth- generation (4G) Long-Term Evolution (LTE) wireless technology provides the foundation for 5G. Unlike 4G, which requires large, high-power cell towers to radiate signals over longer distances, 5G wireless signals will be transmitted via large numbers of small cell stations located in places like light poles or building roofs. The use of multiple small cells is necessary because the millimetre wave spectrum -- the band of spectrum between 30 GHz and 300 GHz that 5G relies on to generate high speeds -- can only travel over short distances and is subject to interference from weather and

BENEFITS OF 5G TECHNOLOGY High speed, high capacity. 5g technology proving large broadcasting of data in Gbps. Multi -media programs, watch T.V programs with clarity as to that of an HD quality. Faster data transmission that of previous generation.Large phone memory, Dialling speed clarity in audio/video. Support interactive multimedia, voice, streaming video, internet and other. 5G is more effective and interactive.

APPLICATIONS OF 5G TECHNOLOGY The 5G technology has the following applications in different fields: Helps in knowing weather, location and can control the OC’s by the handsets. The education system has its applications to make the learning of education much easier. At the same time, it has the applications in the medical field also. Natural disasters can be detected; can visualize the universe, planets, and galaxies

COMPARISON BETWEEN 1G AND 5G

5G WIRELESS ACCESS

FEATURES OF WIRELESS 5G TECHNOLOGY 1.Blazing Fast Internet One of the obvious advantages of the 5G network is the huge bump in internet speeds that users would enjoy, once they get access to this. No, we are not talking about some 2 times increase in speeds but as much as 100 t While a 4G network is capable of offering speeds of up to a maximum of 50 Mb/s, in 5G we are talking about internet speed crossing the 10Gb/s mark on an average. imes more data speeds over the air.

2.100 Times More Capacity Than 4G The new 5G network will come with more than 100 times more device handling capacity. What it means is that more people or devices would be able to connect to a given network without degrading its performance for the rest of the users. While internet speeds are surely great, the 5G network comes with another massive advantage in its kitty.

3.Very Low Network Latency Current 4G networks can only offer a latency as-low-as 50ms, which makes it unsuitable for critical applications such as the ones used for medical purposes 5G, on the other hand, offers an ultra-low latency of 1ms which means an instant response from the network and devices using that network. Thus, making this network really useful for varied applications and even online gaming that needs a very fast and a very robust network.offers an ultra-low latency of 1ms

FEATURES OF WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES Advantages: The advantages of the 5G technology are as follows: It posses very high speed, high capacity and low cost per bit. It supports multimedia, voice, and internet. It also offers global access and service portability. It has very high uploading and downloading speed. It offers high resolution and bi-directional large bandwidth for mad mo Disadvantages: The following are the disadvantages of the 5G technology: It is an under processing technology. It is difficult to get a high seed in some parts of the world. Security and privacy are yet to be solved. bile users

CONCLUSION All totally the best way to help all user is to use 5G as the next wireless system and in totally it is safety and security for the people, this the need that demand the solution. Today’s society is going wireless so 5g is the best. 5g is giving tough competition to laptops and computers. It will be available in the year 2020 in markets at affordable cost than the present technologies.
