Enrollment in the student health insurance program is not needed.
Primary Care Services provided in the SHC Physicals volunteer programs, travel, ROTC, program physicals for College of Nursing & Diagnostic ultrasound program Acute Care diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, infections, & minor injuries Sports Medicine treatment of concussions, muscle strains, joint sprains and fractures with referral to specialists as needed Skin Care including treatment of acne, eczema, warts Women's Health pap smears, pregnancy testing/prevention, PCOS, breast concerns Services STD evaluation testing, treatment, counseling, and PrEP Mental Health diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depression; medication management for other stable mental health conditions; referral to psychiatry as needed Other Immunizations and TB testing
SHC Costs $5 administrative fee to see Nurse Practitioner, no other visit fee SHC does not bill insurance except the Aetna Student Insurance plan Additional costs for some in clinic tests, procedures, and immunizations (can provide receipt to submit to insurance)
