Community Announcements Sacraments Sunday Mass: 0830 at Aliamanu Military Reservation Chapel (AMR) 1100 at Main Post Chapel, Schofield Barracks (MPC) Child care is available during Sunday Mass and Religious Education. Reconciliation: Reconciliation is available at AMR Sundays before Mass by Father Larry or by appointment. Please contact Father Joe or Father Jason via email if you wish for an appointment. There will be no Reconciliation on Sunday by the presiding priest because they are spiritually preparing for Mass and often have to celebrate Mass at both chapel communities. Marriage: Please contact Father Joe or Father Jason at least six months prior to anticipated date of wedding. Mandatory Pre-Cana classes are required. Baptism: Bi-monthly celebrations. Preparation class required. Please RSVP for class. Next MPC Baptism Class: 22 January at 1830 Next AMR Baptism: 3 February during Mass Next MPC Baptism: 20 January at 1200 Community Announcements 20 JAN we will have a designated Offering to the Archdiocese of Military Services. MPC has upcoming training opportunities so you can support our Holy Mass! Training will take place in the sanctuary. EHMC training is on 13 Jan following Mass at 1145 and on 15 Jan at 1845. Altar Server training will be 15 Jan at 1730. We need volunteers at each chapel to sign up to lead and organize one of the weeks of our Friday Night Stations of the Cross during Lent. Please share your ideas and your plan with Michelle or Tracey and they will put you on the schedule. If you are a woman that is a registered member of our Catholic Community and would like to attend the MCCW Strengthened by Grace Pacific Retreat at St. Anthony’s Retreat Center during 7-10 February please email one of the CWOC presidents or Tracey Harger. If you are unable to attend all four days, there is a two day trip ticket available! Due to the generous contributions of our community, the registration fees for our members will be covered through our community funds! AMR CWOC meets on Thursdays from 9:00-11:30 at AMR Chapel Center for Mass, brunch, fellowship and faith formation and is open to all women. An evening study meets from 1900-2030 in the activity room for those unable to make the day meeting.  Childcare will be provided for the morning session.  We are currently on break and will resume 17 Jan. Aloha! Regular MPC CWOC meetings start back up this Wednesday at the MPC 0930-1130. We will continue our study with Bishop Barron. If you have been waiting to join us, don’t worry about what you may have missed, we are not too far along! Children are welcome and childcare is available at no cost during our meeting. We hope to see new faces in 2019, and can’t wait to spend time with all of you again! Life Teen holds regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Saturday at 1815 after the Saturday Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Community on JBPHH. Please make offering checks out to CTOF AMR 143/ 467.95 MPC 325 /712.01 Religious Education Religious Education for this school year will run through 19 May 2019. Classes are held weekly from 0945-1045 with various holidays and long weekends off. Any adult interested in learning more about the faith is welcome to join the Parent Faith Formation class once a month on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The dates are: 02/03, 03/03, 04/14,  and 05/05. Our program is "The Mass" by Word on Fire/Bishop Barron.  For questions about the Religious Education program, please contact Ute Eble. Her email is on the back of the bulletin. Family Night will be held on Tuesdays starting with Mass at 1700 at AMR. Family Night will be held on Wednesdays at 1800 at MPC. Family Night programs will include dinner followed by religious education curriculum and methods that will allow your family to explore and practice your faith together in as a family. First Communion is at both chapels on 19 May 2019.
