Things you need to be able to do for the test next week. Foundation paper Higher paper Label a flower and say what the parts do. Seed dispersal and adaptations of the seeds. Labelling the male and female reproductive organs, and saying what each part does. Changes that happen to girls and boys in puberty. Explain how a woman becomes pregnant. Explain what the placenta does. Compare how the pill and the condom prevent pregnancy. Describe what we did in the seed germination practical (including the variables we changed, measured and controlled). Labelling male / female reproductive organs, and saying what each part does. Explain how to calculate an average and identify and deal with anomalous results. Write other questions that can be investigated. Changes in uterus during pregnancy, adaptations of the placenta and oviduct. Explain how infertility in a lady can be caused.
