Ex- ante conditionality 5.2 water pricing in agriculture EAC added to ensure EU funds contribute to EU (ENV) objectives, has stimulated discussion/cooperation between both sectors – which we hope will continue

Improving outcomes through better co-ordination/ joint working Water Directors Conclusions since 2003 highlight importance of working with agriculture sector to integrate water objectives into agriculture strategy and measures June 2016 Water Directors meeting (NL) "Towards a joint agenda for the Water and Agriculture Directors" WD agreed on importance of organising process leading to a joint Directors meeting in the first half of 2017. first step is organisation of the workshop under the SK Presidency. Workshop to be informed by DG ENV , AGRI task force and results of the questionnaire presented by the Dutch Presidency on good practises
