IYALI 2017 experience IYALI 2017 experience I've learnt during my IYALI experience in 2017 that most of the recent services and projects are based on the modern technology; technology became a key factor of transformation and progress in libraries these days and in the near future.

Digital Literacy Digital Literacy There's no doubt that Digital Literacy will lead the progress of our African communities towards achieving the United Nations’ policy for Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Child Coder Project ! Kids + Code = ? Kids + Code + Library = ? Child Coder: is a project aimed to teach young children the basic of programming techniques, discovering talent and skills, and enhance their skills to bring out children programmers who can keep abreast of the digital age.

Why ? Main Objectives: Train Participants to use basic programming languages and tools; Train participants on digital teamworking; Spread the programming culture and raise its awareness among our community;

Project Partners: Library and Information Association of Algeria (Djelfa Annex) and Open Source and Gnu Linux Association.

Programme Content: It is implemented through specific stages, intense and focused. 03 months for each version. We follow the methodology of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) called "Scratch".
