It has two sites on Teesside employing over 160 people and is now one of Europe’s largest providers of custom manufacturing services to blue chip petrochemical and speciality chemical companies as well as to smaller companies with niche applications. Seqens is a great place to work and as a Product Manager you will report directly to the Commercial Director and will be working with experienced Commercial, Research & Development, Operations and Supply Chain teams. This role is an addition to the existing team to support and drive business growth for the Cosmetics /Personal Care sector. You will manage all commercial activities, creating and developing new leads and managing the process from prospecting, to development, negotiation to contract commitment. Main tasks: Manage the Cosmetics/Personal Care product portfolio Develop, expand and manage routes to market Negotiate new contracts and business opportunities Provide comprehensive technical support for the product line to global customers Work closely with Operations, R&D, Purchasing and Supply Chain personnel Employ technical and plant capability knowledge to initiate and progress project enquiries Cultivate strong business relationships with current customers Scope and lead market research Represent the company at external network events and conferences
