Daily Summary, 3/5 (week ending 3/9) 1. Write today’s learning target – Describe the factors that influence economic growth in Africa. 2. Write two sentences about important things to remember from today’s class. Must be written in complete sentences and show thought to receive full credit.

Warm-up, 3/6 (week ending 3/9) What is an exchange rate? Answer: The rate at which one unit of the currency of a country can be traded for a unit of the currency of another country International trade requires a system for exchanging currencies between nations because one nation’s currency is not always accepted in another. One nation’s currency is not always equal in value. One nation’s currency may be worth more or less than the nation they are trading with.
