Getting started with your device 7th Grade Getting started with your device You are to continue working on your 3d printed object and Electronic device Use the tutorials to help you. 3d Printed Object

Handheld Electronic Device: Design Brief Objective: SWBAT write a design brief for the Electronic Device View examples of this project Find an existing electronic device you would like to improve Complete your design brief Name of Device 5-6 Sentences Describe the original device and why you chose it Describe 3 major changes Explain why these changes are being made Sketch, in pencil, a 3 view orthographic of your new device. Label all features, overall height, width and depth.

Minimum size of text is .2” BOLD 3D Printing – Key Chain Objective: SWBAT create a .stl file of a keychain to be 3D printed May choose any shape that can be drawn using the circle, rectangle or polygon tool only Height, Width or Diameter must be 1.25” Extrude to .15” Minimum size of text is .2” BOLD Extrude / cut the text to .05” Hole for key chain must have a minimum diameter of .15” May use Fillets or Chamfers
