We can be confident that every single student and adult will have some interaction with healthcare specialists. Medicine and medical technology is underpinned at every level by Science and Engineering Technology – ICT and Maths are integral to these disciplines. Education Managers

Medical Technology is the perfect gender friendly platform on which many schools can base STEM activity and help deliver WRL and innovative curriculum activity that motivates students and allows staff to undertake real and relevant investigations and projects using 21 st century technology based on extensive historical development. Medical Technology … the use, application, support and development of medical devices and equipment This powered chair was designed and built by two girls attending a medical technology half day workshop. The chair is computer controlled, using linear actuators.

Education Managers Medical Technology an opportunity to enhance the curriculum, enrich work related learning and provide a vehicle to apply Science, Technology Engineering and Maths across the curriculum. This CD provides a range of information and activities to stimulate, inform and support schools who would like to explore this opportunity. You will find further details in other sections of the CD
