POSTER MAKER Save Lives by Supporting the 5th of May campaign Create your own version of the 5th of May campaign posters to print, post and share with your friends to spread awareness for the campaign
A Message From Professor Didier Pittet Every year health care-associated infections affect hundreds of millions of patients around the globe; people die or are considerably affected by severe infections acquired during patient care, including many that are resistant to antibiotics. Most of infections can be avoidable. By cleaning their hands, health-care workers can help prevent such infections and contribute to reducing the global burden. Each year on the 5th of May, we run the SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands WHO's global annual call to action to raise awareness of hand hygiene. Today, you can be part of this global campaign in an easy and interactive way. Simply create your own version of the 5th of May posters , print it and use it in your facilities. You can also share it on Social Media to pledge your support and raise awareness for the cause. It will only take 5 minutes to do and will impact the lives of millions of people all around the world. I thank you for taking part. Warmest wishes Professor Didier Pittet Director, Infection Control Programme & WHO Collaborating Centre on Patient Safety The University of Geneva Hospitals and Faculty of Medicine Switzerland
