Welcome to A level art at GBA. Head of Department Miss Morrall Second of department Mrs Williams Teacher of art Miss Leese During the Summer holidays you will be expected to do the following work……….. Fill an A5 sketchbook with as much experimentation as possible. Consider what we discussed during your induction session and use a variety of different materials and found objects. Fill an A5 sketchbook with as much artist research as possible. Consider your favourite artists and artists from different movements of art. Include images, information, own drawings and paintings of the artist’s work. Consider the presentation of your sketchbook as the layout is very important. Read the information book given to you during your induction session. As extra work whilst on holiday, day trips, at theme parks, in natural parks take as many photographs as you can because photography will be a big part of your art course for the next two years.
