Solar Power BY: Sabrin Mohamed, Aubrey Edwards, Johanna Osher, Samari Bankhead

What is solar power -Power obtained by harnessing the energy of the sun's rays - Solar power panels are When photons hit a solar cell, they knock electrons loose from their atoms.

How does Solar Power work -Solar Panels are heated by the sun -A solar panel works by allowing photons, or particles of light, to knock electrons free from atoms, generating a flow of electricity.

Positives of Solar Power -Solar power helps reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere -Solar power is pollution free and causes no greenhouse gases - Unlike other fossil fuels, solar energy does not lead directly to pollutants being released into the atmosphere. Positives of Solar Power

-Solar power is to expensive for a lot of people -Solar power energy is to expensive for storage -Solar power takes up a lot of space What are the negatives

Solutions -The government is trying to make solar power less expensive -We are putting them on roads for more space -

Future -People are making new solar panel windows, putting them on roads. - Solar power use will expand dramatically.
