EMS Annual Meeting 2017, Dublin Impacts of Climate Change on Meteorological Wildfire Danger in the Czech Republic P112 Lenka Hájková, Martin Možný, Tomáš Vráblík, Věra Kožnarová / Lenka Hájková Days with high fire danger Climate strongly influences the danger and probability of wildfires. We analysed the monthly and seasonal fire danger index calculated on the daily meteorological data from 110 stations and the number of vegetation fires for the period 1971–2015 in the Czech Republic. Average fire danger index (April – September) Relationship between number of wildfires and fire danger index As per the climate projections for the 21st century, it is likely to expect more wildfire dangers in the future! 15-8-2019 EMS Annual Meeting 2017, Dublin
