Choosing travel items Speaking

First, you must choose your ideal holiday. You might go to the beach… You might go to New York…

Then, with your partner’s help, decide on five travel ítems to take with you. Then, you’ll need sunglasses. I’,m going to go skiing in the Alps. Sunglasses? No way! What for? It’s very bright in the snow. You’ll wear your sunglasses all the time.

Expressions to agree with someone I agree with you 100 percent. That's so true. Tell me about it! You're absolutely right. Absolutely. That's exactly how I feel. Exactly. I'm afraid I agree with …. . I have to side with … on this one. No doubt about it. (agree with negative statement) Me neither. (weak) I suppose so./I guess so. You have a point there. I was just going to say that.

Expressions to disagree with someone No way! I don’t think so. You’re wrong. That’s not a good idea. I'm afraid I disagree. (strong) I totally disagree. I beg to differ. (strong) I'd say the exact opposite. Not necessarily. That's not always true. That's not always the case. No, I'm not so sure about that.
