4.4 Gate control by arming/disarming partition

4.4 Gate control by arming/disarming partition Structure For proper automation operation, 2 different automation rules should be created: If partition arms - rule 1 If partition disarms - rule 2 PARTITION ARMS PARTITION DISARMS 1 WHEN PARTITION ARMS GATES ARE CLOSING 2 WHEN PARTITION DISARMS GATES ARE OPENING Gates

4.4 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (1) 1. Click Automation 2. Click Add new

4.4 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (2) Rule No.1 Rule No.1 When System Arms on partition “Gates“ – gates are closing by getting pulse for 2 seconds (the duration may vary depending on the gates manufacturer. For more specific duration refer to gates manual)

4.5 Gate control via Eldes Security App and EWKB5 (without external relay)

4.5.1 Gate control via Eldes Security App and EWKB5 (without external relay) To achieve PGM pulse in Eldes Security App (or EKWB5) you need to connect terminal contact C1 to Z8 directly to enable possibility to automate C1 from following zone (see the picture below). Quick notes: - output C1 and zone Z8 are picked only for this demonstration. Any output and zone can be picked for this gate control scenario. - if 2-wire smoke sensor mode is enabled, C2 output can not be used. This allows to achieve PGM pulse by setting zones’ “trigger delay” duration which is used in automation rule. Turning C1 PGM output button ON in Eldes Security App (or EKWB5) triggers automation which turns OFF PGM output after “trigger delay” duration.

4.5 Gate control via Eldes Security application and EWKB5 Structure For proper automation operation 1 automation rule should be created: If zone is violated - rule 1 Zone 8 is violated 1 WHEN ZONE 8 IS VIOLATED OUTPUT 1 TURNS OFF Gates

4.5 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (1) 1. Click Zones 2. Select zone 3. Change Zone Type to “Report” 4. Change value to 2000 ms 5. Change connection type to ,,Type #1“ We recommend to turn off notifications about Report zone alarms. Go to Users -> SMS notifications -> Report/Control Zone Triggered -> SMS Recepients. Turn off notifications for all recpients.

4.5 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (2) 1. Click Automation 2. Click Add new

4.5 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (3) Rule No.1 Rule No. 1 When zone 8 (Z8) is violated – turn off PGM output C1. “Trigger Delay”, which is set to 2000ms will ensure that PGM output will turn off after 2 seconds.

4.5 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (4) All rules Write settings All rules

4.6 Gate control via Eldes Security App and EWKB5 (using external relay)

4.6 Gate control via Eldes Security App and EWKB5 (using external relay) To achieve PGM pulse in Eldes Security App (or EKWB5) you need to connect terminal contact C1 to Z8 directly to enable possibility to automate C1 from following zone (see the picture below). Any output and zone can be picked for this gate control scenario. - if 2-wire smoke sensor mode is enabled, C2 output can not be used. This allows to achieve PGM pulse by violating zone. Turning C1 PGM output button ON in Eldes Security App (or EKWB5) triggers automation which turns OFF PGM output after zone violates.

4.6 Gate control via Eldes Security application and EWKB5 Structure For proper automation operation 2 automation rules should be created: Zone 8 is violated 1 WHEN ZONE 8 IS VIOLATED OUTPUT 1 TURNS OFF Gates WHEN ZONE 8 IS VIOLATED OUTPUT 2 PULSE ON FOR 2 SECONDS 2 Gates

4.6 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (4) Rule No.2 Rule No. 2 When zone 8 (Z8) is violated – pulse ON PGM output C2 for 2 seconds.

4.6 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (5) All rules Write settings All rules

4.6 Panel configuration with Eldes Utility tool (6) Hide C2 PGM output from ”Eldes Security“ application 2. Click ,,C2“ 1. Click ,,Outputs“ 3. Turn off this parameter Gates will be controlled via C1 PGM output and C2 is used only for external relay, so we can hide C2 from keypad and “Eldes Security“ application in order to not confuse clients. 59
