More Internal Striving 2 Cor. 13:5 -- Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?

More Patience In Suffering More Sorrow For Sin 2 Corinthians 7:10 -- For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
