This technology was developed by NASA to help balance the temperature differences in space that astronauts are exposed to. The technology is based on capsules, 3 million per cm 2, containing paraffine, capable of absorbing, storing and giving off heat. When a capsule is exposed to heat from the body, the paraffine starts melting. When molten, the heat is transferred to the next capsule in the chain and so on. In this way, the heat is spread out in the garment and not stuck in one place. When the temperature sinks, the paraffine transform from its liquid state to fixed form. In this process, a reactional heat is released.

Outlast technology offers temperature regulation and sweat reduction, giving improved comfort. Outlast influences the micro climate closest to the body, sensitive to changes in temperature. The technology can be used in foam or in fibers. The printed pattern on the back of our linings is Outlast.

Differences in temperatures are balanced out. Sweating is reduced. Today you will find the technology in: Underwear Bed clothes Medical products Clothes

This function cannot be washed or worn away. The technology helps also in warm weather, because the wind from available ventilation slits cools the capsules, which in turn cools the body. An Outlast product that has been stored in cool surroundings will remain cool for a longer time than a product without this technology. Learn more, visit
