Exposition Zeus married Hera after he had impregnated Leto and made Hera jealous Python was sent by Hera to harass Leto and people were hesitant to allow Leto any safety for fear of Hera’s wrath. The children of Leto were Artemis and Apollo. Apollo and Artemis protected their mother in the years to come and became strong warriors with much power.

Conflict Hera, having been bamboozled by Leto by her escape to Delos, captured Eileithyia, goddess of childbirth to prevent Leto from giving birth to her children. Niobe boasted that she had 14 children and was a better mother than Leto.

Resolution Python was slain by Apollo when he was 4 years old. Having mothered 2 powerful children, Leto came back into Zeus’ favor despite Hera’s distaste. Apollo and Artemis killed all of Niobe’s children but one.
