Safety Practices Important information to share with students Always be aware of traffic, including the school bus. Be a good passenger. 8/21/2019

Be aware of areas around a school bus where students and other pedestrians need to be cautious. 8/21/2019

Kindergarten Procedures and Purpose Standardized Kindergarten dismissal. Drivers only release Kindergarten students to an authorized person. If there is no authorized person to meet a kindergartner, the student will be kept in the bus, Dispatch contacted, and the student will be returned to their school. 8/21/2019

Bus Routing and Walk Zones All students assigned to a bus are provided a seat. Student ages are considered when routing a bus. Walk zones are reviewed annually, notification is not later than June 1st to households in an expanded or new walk zone. Walking distance to the front door entrance of their school is: - 1.0 miles for an elementary student - 1.25 miles for a secondary student (middle and high) Bus Routing and Walk Zones 8/21/2019
