A Peek at This Week in… Ms. Bonick’s 4th Grade Reminders Math Reading Fri., Dec. 2 Reminders Math Thursday, December 8th is Dress Down Day for $2.00!! We spent the week wrapping up Chapter 4 and reviewing for our test that we took on Friday. Chapter 5 is DIVISION! Please work with your child as we move through this chapter. Fact fluency will make their life easier! Reading This week, students continued to work on characterization. They made inferences about characters based on their actions, thoughts, feelings, words, and choices. Practice multiplication facts! Writing Students next writing piece is an opinion/persuasive essay. They were introduced to the elements of a thesis statement. Upcoming Events Thursday, December 8th, Ms. Bonick’s 4th grade is hosting the all school mass. Join us at 8:30am! Social Studies Students learned about what drew the first Americans to North America, why Americans decided to move westward in the 1800s and what happened in the late 1800s that changed the ways people lived and worked.
