Identifying the emissive regions with transport models: Gosan, spring  summer 2016 Influence from eastern China enhanced CFC-11 concentration at Gosan (ppt) Darker colors indicate surface regions influencing the sample at GSN station Narrative: …but this is only one model over a limited time range—the analysis in Rigby et al included 4 different inversion frameworks over the 2008-2017 period Met Office NAME model simulations Enhanced concentrations are typically observed when air was previously influenced by surface regions in eastern China; Hence, China is likely the dominant source of CFC-11 emissions in this region during this period 14
