Instructions Read these instructions silently: Your partner is going to be asked to tell you a story. Whatever you do, do not listen to them! Keep staring at this screen. Don’t worry, you’ll only have to do this for one minute!

Instructions Partners face each other again. Partner one practices actively listening to partner two. Partner one is not permitted to speak during this activity. Partner two, respond to this prompt: Tell me about yourself!

Instructions Questions that begin with who, what, where, when, why and how are great to ask when trying to engage in a genuine conversation. Partner one, practice asking genuinely curious questions to partner two. Try to ask at least two different questions.
