Program overview Town Bridge Funding letter is sent via email to local agencies by the State Aid Program Administrator. It will state in this letter if a project is authorized for Special Town Bridge. Allotments for Regular and Special Town Bridge are replenished annually per the Commissioners Order. Special town bridge does not need to be repaid. Engineering is limited by State Aid Rules and cannot exceed 25 percent of the eligible construction costs.

State Aid Payment Request Payment request should match funding letter received by State Aid Program Administrator. If authorized for both regular and special town bridge funds, request 95 percent from each fund on the payment request. Special and Regular Town Bridge is adjusted when the initial State Aid Payment Request is received. If payment request is sent in the following year, authorized funds should be reviewed by State Aid Finance.
