Review to the problem №22 «Montgolfiere» IYNT 2018 TEAM OF BELARUS Reviewer :Elizaveta Bondarik

Statement To heat air for a simple hot air balloon, one can even use a heater. Build such a buoyant. Explain the results for your experiments and determine important parameters.

Report Theory; Explanation of results Structured presentation; STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES Theory; Explanation of results Structured presentation; Didn’t introduce all possible parameters Used only one volume of balloon Volume can be measured with water (pour it inside the glove)

Opposition Asked about temperature (important); Time of heating; STRENGHTS WEAKNESSES Asked about temperature (important); Time of heating; Noticed lack of comparison theory and experiment; Noticed wrong formula and all main points of problem Reporter couldn’t measure temperature (lack of thermometer in list)

Conclusions & how to improve results Of course with thermometer, but as it wasn’t in the list of equipment we can’t say it’s a weakness; Measure volume with water; Speed and time of lifting;

Thank you for attention!
