Title of lesson: Temperature Inversion Eric Angat Environmental Science

What is thermal inversion? Essential Question What is thermal inversion?

Instructions: Open your notebook to a blank page. Write the title of the lesson on the upper middle of the page. The title of the lesson is “Temperature Inversion”. Write the date on the upper right of the page. Paste the picture below the title. Write the explanation of thermal inversion under the picture.

What is a temperature inversion? A temperature inversion is a thin layer of the atmosphere where the normal decrease in temperature with height switches to the temperature increasing with height. An inversion acts like a lid, keeping normal convective overturning of the atmosphere from penetrating through the inversion. http://www.weatherquestions.com/What_is_a_temperature_inversion.htm
