Project Description ERASMUS+ Project 8 international Partner (Portugal, Spain, France, Hungary, Austria) Duration: 01.09.2016 - 31.08.2019

Project goals: Raise awarness to the potential of an ageid workforce Improve age management stratgegies in SMEs from the metal and textile sectore Make a lifelong learning reality for senior workers Increase the availability of innovative and tested tools for creation of age-friendly workplaces Increase opportunities for professional development and strengthen the cooperation and networking between enterprises.

Direct target groups (primary target group): Indirect target group (secondary target group): SME business owners/general managers SME human resources managers SME senior employees Trainers, consultants and guidance professionals Experts and policy makers Partners organizations and staff Guidance and training providers (and their professionals) which will incorporate the elaborated project products into their offer Companies and their HR departments Public and private labor actors/employers and employees’ associations Opinion and policy makers

Activites over the 3-years of the project: Desk research, literature review and consensus building with experts; Questionnaires and interviews with representatives of the target groups; One dissemination event organized in each of the participating countries to show case the products developed and inform about the results of the testing sessions; In the survey in Austria 7 employers, 11 directors and 12 HR managers, 2 trainers, 3 consultants and 1 guidance professionals and 5 workers were tested A training event dedicated to the staff members of the consortium Co-development of the project resources with involvement of the target groups and end-users Testing the results in real scenarios within SMEs of textile and metal sector

Project Intellectual Outputs: IO1 – State of play, scenarios and guidelines towards a common framework for age-friendly and multi-generational management strategies IO2 – Aged and multi-generational workforce and related strategies assessment tool IO3 – Turning silver into gold toolkits for employers and employees IO4 – Guide for age-friendly multi-generational (on-the-job) activities IO5 – Sparkling Grey train-the-trainer package
