Knowledge Sharing Portal Overview The Knowledge Sharing Portal is a web portal designed to: Expand United Way’s reach Centralize membership and GCL information Create opportunities to leverage regional relationships with companies Offer locally relevant and culturally appropriate examples of a companies’ work in communities around the world ATUL: We are proud to be partners with you around the world. I/We have met with many of you -- and listened to you – so we can continue to strengthen our network together. Like you, we were interested in a way to streamline your communication and reporting with United Way Worldwide. That’s why I am pleased to unveil the NEW, updated, knowledge sharing portal – what will become a central clearing house for information. This tool originated as an idea in the field and was brought to completion by a team of Global Fellows with the support of United Way Worldwide staff. Without the idea and efforts from the international field, this solution would not be a reality. So thank you. Now that this new portal is ready to use, all you have to do is submit information to the tool and keep it current. This will increase efficiency for everyone! No system works without the human element. We co-created this tool together, and it will only be successful if we use it together. I look forward to continuing to partner with you, work with you, hear from you and learn with you. Thank you for all you are doing.
