International Trade War By Marcell Weeks

About The international trade ( U.S & China ) Trump started the trade war China was punish by making more expensive product that the American consumer can provide. They accused the U.S that they start a largest trade war with the tariffs of 25 percent on 34 billion China biggest imports from America was aircraft, soybeans, and autos.

Three things that they will never agree on ( U.S & China ) Intellectual property - U.S accuses China of stealing a property from the american firms forcing them to transfer tech to china Market access - China economics has been built on success and how the will target people for companies Made in China 2025 - U.S wants to have a fundamentally change to China market to be normal , China doesn't want that

Causes Effects China produce many goods in a lower costs then any other countries. A lower standard of living, which allows companies in China to pay lower wages to workers. An exchange rate that is partially fixed to the dollar. By China buying treasury from U.S it helped to keep U.S interest rate low. U.S must either lower there the cost or go out of business to compete with chinese cheap goods.

Trade gap In this graph it show of how the Trade war was doing their part. As you could see that China was having more of imports from China so a lot of American was getting a lot of products from China

Question How will the trade war between US and China affect the global economy?
