Clean and Unclean Food

Clean and Unclean Many of the laws of God had to do with sanitation-this was one of them Because of the nature of these animals, they carried many germs and were declared unclean

Mammals to be considered clean had to have Two qualifications Cloven Hooves Chewing of the Cud

Carnivores and those Not meeting both “Clean” qualifications Are considered unclean

All birds are Acceptable to eat, Except Birds of Prey Or Scavengers

All Reptiles are considered to be unclean So the Hebrews would not eat any reptiles

There are two qualifications for eating water Animals 1.Fins 2. Scales

All the unclean water animals Fail to meet the scales and Fins criteria
