20 classes, 3 internships, 5 community initiatives, and12 student organizations showcased their community projects. Thank you so much for participating. We proudly present the winners in the following categories:

SCSU Community Garden The Mission of the Community Garden is to create a unified network to envision, plan, plant, tend, and harvest food and flowers together. Community Initiative The project demonstrates the strongest connection between university and community.

Environmental Studies 375 The Students from ETS 375 focused their service learning activities on food and water themes. They selected community partners based on their interests. Most Creative Display The award for Most Creative Display was based on the presentation/display.

National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association The NSSLHA chapter of SCSU created a Lending Library for the use of their clients and their families. Best Student Organization The project demonstrates the best connection to their organizations mission statement/ purpose.

Marketing and Management 498/598 Develop marketing plans for businesses such as We R Fun games and South Way Bowl. Most Unique Project The project is the most creative in terms of design, implementation, or outcome among all projects presented.

S.U.M.O. The Society of Unified Management Organizations collaborated with Lincoln Elementary School by participating in a number of projects. Greatest Impact The project demonstrates the greatest impact on the community compared to other projects being presented.

Growing Up Healthy The Growing Up Healthy Access Grant was a community initiative with the vision that all immigrant and refugee children in the St. Cloud area have access to resources and support for healthy development. Most Inclusive Project The project brings together different organizations, courses, and populations.

Honors 100 Sec. 01 The class worked with Anna Maries Alliance. The students fund raised and will cook a meal for the residents during the holiday season. Best Academic Connection The project demonstrates the best connection between the experiential component and the course.

Communication Sciences and Disorders An Aphasia Group on campus (Brown Hall) for adults who have aphasia as the results of a neurological disorder; Collaboration with and referrals from the CentraCare/St. Cloud Hospital and surrounding nursing homes Best Internship The project demonstrates the best connection to the professional goals of the field/ profession.
