Rainforest Biomes By: Dennys Padilla

Climate Temperate Rainforests are cooler than the Tropical Forests. The Temperate Rainforest have long wet winters, and short dry summers. Temperate Rainforest are wet, but not as rainy as Tropical Rainforests.

Plants Epiphyte, Mosses, Ferns, orchids, and bromeliads  There are 20,000 varieties of orchids found in the rainforest.  Tropical Rainforests have a bigger variety of trees, hundreds of species of them! yay

Animal Monkeys, Butterflies, Mosquitoes, Stick Insects, Ants, Chipmunks, Deer, Bobcats.  Cougars and Bobcats are the top predators in this biome.

Interesting Facts There are two types of Rainforests, Tropical and Temperate. Tropical Rainforests are found closer to the equator where it is warm. The Tropical Rainforest is a hot, moist biome where it rains all year long.
