Scholarships are available Iowa Family Leadership Training Institute 2019 Parents or primary caregivers of children ages 3 to 19 with special health care needs living in Iowa are invited to participate in a special leadership training. Goals of the training are to: Understand how to work with partners Become aware of one’s own path to leadership Discover strategies for advocacy Prepare a Community Service Project having impact at the community or systems level COST: $100 Scholarships are available Training Schedule In-person sessions in Cedar Rapids on these dates: April 5-6 May 3-4 May 31-June 1 June 29 Participants will develop service projects with the support of experienced family leaders.
