This hunting spider has a short, broad abdomen This hunting spider has a short, broad abdomen. It’s legs are held outstretched to the side that enable it to move sideways, forward and back just like a crab. The male Crab Spider is 1/8 inch long, and the female its 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch long. The crab spider is usually white with red stripes on the sides of the abdomen, this spider can change its color to yellow.
Crab Spiders live throughout North America and southern Canada.
The crab spider eats insects that lands on a flower.
Crab spiders blend into every yellow & white flower & crab spiders can change to yellow & white.
